JD Wine Cellars is a small farm winery located in Macedon, NY – 15 miles east of downtown Rochester, New York. Opened in 2010, the winery is known for producing small handcrafted batches of Red, White and 100% Fruit Wines.

“JD” stands for Joan and Doug Allen, the owners of both the winery and Long Acre Farms. There is a small, half-acre vineyard of Marquette grapes on the farm for the Estate Rose, and all additional grapes and juices are sourced from farmers within New York state - primarily the Finger Lakes & Sodus Point!

Audrey, Joan and Doug’s youngest daughter, (below left) came back full time to the farm in 2018 to become the Tasting Room Manager and work alongside Doug in the winery & vineyard. After traveling for a few years gaining winemaking experience in New Zealand and Australia, she is excited to put her own spin on the wine produced at the farm.

The winery is a nice addition to the already popular agri-tourism venue at Long Acre Farms, which is the home of the Amazing Maize Maze in the fall and seasonal activities May – October. With a diverse wine list, JD Wine Cellars is confident there is a wine to please every palate. Come for the wine and stay for the experience!
